Old Edwardians FC have been boosted by a donation of jerseys and footballs from Mr. Moseray Fadika.

The items include two complete sets of football jerseys, including hoses and goal keeper’s full kit; and 10 size five footballs to help the team during training.

The formal presentation of the items, which took place on Friday evening at the club’s training field at Maypark, Kingtom, was done by Hon. Chernor R. M. Bah and Adrian Wright on behalf of Mr. Fadika. Hon. Bah is former Chairman of Old Edwardians FC while Wright is Special Assistant to Mr. Fadika at Africa Minerals Ltd. SL.

While making the presentation to club officials, Hon. Bah assured the club of Mr. Fadika’s continued support as alumni of the St. Edward’s Secondary School, from which the club was founded.

“Depending on the club’s improvement Mr. Fadika promised more support,” said Hon. Bah.

The Chairman of Old Edwardians FC, lawyer Elvis Kargbo, thanked Mr. Fadika for the items and for his continued support, and called on other Old Edwardians to come on board and build the capacity of the team.

“This club is the ambassador of the school; so I urge all former students of the school to give something back to the institution that moulded them into what they are today in society,” said Kargbo.

Similar sentiments were also expressed by other club officials including the Secretary General, Frickie, and Team Captain Magnus.

Magnus said the donation would motivate the players to give their best and work for the success the team.

This is not the first time Mr. Fadika has donated to the club. He has helped the club financially and materially many times in the past.
